# Stress Mechanics

Stress represents computational noise and tactical friction. It is generated during misaligned scenarios and has a direct impact on the difficulty of the final mission phase.

* **Accumulation:** Each misaligned scenario adds **+1 Stress.**
* **Cap:** Stress is capped at a maximum of **3 points.**
* **Consequence:** Stress acts as a direct multiplier for the Boss’s combat stats. The more stressed your agent is, the more lethal and difficult the final Boss encounter becomes.
